Do you know of any?
Approx 220 ppl, and would like to keep it 100.00/head.
not opposed to tented wedding...if nice bathrooms come with it!
Any advice/suggestions are much appreciated!

Hi, Kerin!
We're opening up a community and forum on the site very soon. You'll be able to post your question and get answers from brides and vendors.
I know some small out of the way spots, but none that can host 220 people. I'll do some digging and let you know if I come up with anything.
Good luck!

Hi Stefhanie & Jeff,
We met you and husband at a wedding you were performing at this past Saturday night. Hopefully, it didn't rain.
You b oth were so kind to stop while it was wild, and talk a few minutes. We wanted to let you know how much we appreciated your insight and help.
We are having a problem with where to have a small celebr\ation of our prior wedding. We loved the venue you were at but feel it is excessive for around 40-50 people.
We would like it to be in the spring, around May 2012. Can you give us suggestions, to save us both time and mistakes.
Truly appreciate anything you can help us with, we trust both your years and insight.

i just want to no how much it would be to rent the castle on the hudson, tarrytown,ny
-
I don't know if it would be possible to rent the entire Castle but you certainly can have a beautiful wedding there and, since it is also a hotel, I'm sure you can reserve a block of rooms for your guests.
Give them a call or visit their web-site for more information.
As a wedding ceremony musician, the Castle is one of my favorite places to play. It's absolutely beautiful.

Looking for a super affordable outdoor wedding in westchester, 50-75 people. Any ideas?
-
Hi, Bonnie & Rai!
Yep, it absolutely POURED during the entire wedding that day, ceremony and all. Fortunately, the guests were really good sports about it.
So something rustic and intimate, not under a tent? I still think you'd be quite comfortable with 40-50 people in the barn at Shadowlawn; just use half the room since the far right side is partly blocked off anyway.
I looked through my book and am having a REALLY tough time identifying any rustic, barn-type locations for a small party. Here are some ideas that might come close...
Terrapin at Dinsmore in Staatsburg http://www.terrapinrestaurant.com/catering - Gorgeous view and the small room is perfect for 50p. Terrapin is a fantastic caterer, too.
West Park Winery http://www.westparkwinery.com/ - In May you could have your party inside the winery and it won't feel cavernous with your group. It's definitely the kind of laid back, rustic vibe you'd like.
Bykenhulle http://www.bykenhullehouse.com/ - This isn't really rust...
-
I have several ideas for both affordable and intimate venues. You can either message me here, email me or call me at 389-5147 and we can talk about it.

Hey Karen,
There are lots of photographers in the Hudson Valley who do Trash the Dress shoots. We've featured a few on the site in the past: Photo by Basia (http://www.besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com/wedding-inspiration/real...), Beautiful Memories (http://www.besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com/best-weddings/trash-the-...), Kimberly Coccagnia (http://www.besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com/ny-wedding-ideas/more-tr...), Surprise Photography (http://www.besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com/wedding-discounts/are-yo...), and EID Photography (http://www.besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com/how-to-plan-a-wedding/7-...).
Moving Pictures will even do video of it (http://www.besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com/westchester-weddings/why...)!
That should be enough to start your search, but feel free to contact me if you need any help! jengarry@besthudsonvalleyweddingever.com
