Calling All Hudson Valley Brides and Brides Everywhere...
Are you planning a wedding? Well, I'm about to admit something shocking...
I have no idea what you are thinking. Really. No idea whatsoever.
It's been a long time since I was a bride (almost 9 years!) and even though I work with couples getting married every day, I'm ashamed to admit that sometimes I need a reminder.
(FYI: The photos in this post are from my own Poughkeepsie wedding. Yes, I had to scan them in. Notice the romantic skeleton and super-imposed fire breathing ghost boy in the background? Perks of an October wedding and an amateur photographer.)
This is a HUGE problem. Why? Because I want to provide the information, ideas and inspiration brides planning a wedding in the Hudson Valley are truly looking for. That's why I need your help.
Will you do me a favor and answer these 3 questions by posting a comment below?
1. What is your biggest challenge when it comes to your wedding?
2. If you could have ONE question answered about your wedding, what would it be?

3. What information are you looking for about planning a wedding in the Hudson Valley New York area (or the specific area where you are planning your wedding) that you haven't been able to find?
I will do my very best to answer these questions here on Best Hudson Valley Wedding Ever to bring you the help you're looking for. I'll also enlist the resources of my growing pool of guest bloggers to dig deep and bring you the goods.
So what are you waiting for? Leave me a comment below with your answers to these questions. It will only take a minute or two. Just glance casually over your shoulder, make sure there are no snarky co-workers nearby, and type away.
Thanks for your help!

1) Simply not knowing where to get started. My fiance and I haven't been to many weddings in the Hudson Valley area (even though we live here most of our married friends are from college - far away) so it's hard for us to get word of mouth suggestions about vendors, etc.
2) For those already married, what is the one detail you wish you hadn't spent tons of money or time on planning?
3) We're doing an outdoor wedding, so it's a little difficult figuring out who we're renting what from--we need everything: tent, dance floor, tables, chairs, linens, generators, bathrooms, plates, glasses, silverware. It's not like I've done this before, so it's all a learning process!
