Stephanie and Jeff were one of the best parts of our wedding. My husband and I got married in September 2011 and our wedding site, Mohonk Mountain House, suggested The DJ Solution for our entertainment needs. We were having a smallish wedding of 70 people so we wanted DJs that wouldn't seem out of place at our intimate family wedding. Thank God for Steph and Jeff because they were exactly what we needed! After meeting them, we just loved their vibe and energy and became fast friends. They seemed to "get" exactly what we were going for: A playlist that would get everyone up and dancing. From the youngest children attending to our grandparents celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. We requested a lot of current popular dance songs and threw in a bunch of obscure hard-to-find tunes (Harry Nilsson's Coconut, anyone?) Steph and Jeff provided it all.

Our venue was concerned with us picking the floor plan that included the largest dance floor because we had a small wedding and they didn't want the focus to be on the empty dance floor if no one was out there dancing. Not a problem with Steph and Jeff! Our dance floor was rocking non-stop. At one point I looked around and only 3 guests were sitting. Awesome! In fact, since so many of our wedding guests got out on the dance floor for a slow song that we did right after our first dance, Stephanie asked how I felt about throwing in a few fast songs before dinner. I said sure! And what a good idea it was. Everyone was itching to dance and we had to be told to go sit down later for dinner! This was exactly the fun family wedding we wanted and I know it wouldn't have been the same without The DJ Solution.

I highly, highly recommend The DJ Solution for your wedding! I already had one of my girlfriends call them up for her Hudson Valley wedding next September. Unfortunately they were booked for her date (book early!) but Stephanie was so kind as to recommend to them another DJ who might be available. Now that's great service. Love, love, love these guys so much!!

Our wedding was a blast, and Stephanie and Jeff were a big reason why! They took the time to get to know us, and gave us some great suggestions for the reception. They followed our suggestions, honored our list of 'do not play' songs, and took things from there. Several of our guests remarked to us that they had never been to a wedding with so much dancing, but at the same time, no one complained that the music was too loud or overbearing. I have no doubt that if any of our guests need a DJ in the future, Steph and Jeff will be getting a call.

Our August 2011 wedding brought together many different guests from across generations and across the globe. We were really picky about choosing to use a DJ vs. a live band and TDS surpassed all of our expectations. Together we crafted the "style" we were going for and the online database made it really easy to make lists of "must-plays" and "not-to-plays." We also planned the wedding from a distance and were able to coordinate everything online and via skype, which helped to keep things personal irregardless of the distance. Then we left it to Jeff and Steph to figure out how to make some of our favorite sing-alongs work with hip hop, French music, and even a few theater tunes!

We have never danced so much at a wedding ever - all of our guests were on the floor, singing along, and totally in the moment that they didn't want to stop - they missed desert and we had to drag them to the bus at the end of the night.

Steph and Jeff enjoyed themselves just as much as our guests did, which made their involvement really natural and appropriate - they were present when needed and in the background at other moments... A perfect mix of personality and music for all ages!

If we were to plan a wedding again, we would avoid all of the other research and book them at the get-go - no questions asked!

From the first time we met Stephanie and Jeff, we knew they were the right DJs for our wedding. They were extremely professional and organized, yet they also managed to be warm and friendly. We were very comfortable with them and even sat and chatted with them for a bit during our first meeting. They really understood the fun and relaxed feeling we wanted at our wedding.

On the day of the wedding, they did a fantastic job of playing the perfect songs at the perfect moments. With their warm and fun energy, they got all the guests up and excited from the very beginning of our reception. They really set the exact tone we were wanted for our whole wedding. They were also totally accommodating and relaxed with last minute changes we made.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Steph and Jeff, DJs really set the tone for a wedding, and they are really amazing. From the first planning meeting until our wedding day they were really wonderful. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
