The Location: Falkirk Estate and Country Club (formerly Inn at Central Valley)
We chose this venue in Central Valley, NY because the grounds were beautifully landscaped and the backdrop for our pictures was a perfect fall scene. The Club was just re-done this past year and the updates were gorgeous.
Early fall makes for a perfect date when the leaves change and the temperature is just right. It rained the entire week before, and I hoped we would have the sunny day that we ended up with. There wasn't a cloud in the sky! It was 70 degrees and beautiful—perfect for an outdoor ceremony!

The location was beautiful and it is within walking distance of an old iron fence and rock wall that was an easy choice for our “first look.”
Our photographers from AfterGlow Photos were great to work with and easily accessible. They answered e-mails quickly, and were very patient with our choices. We were running a bit behind, and they calmly nudged us towards finishing our photos as quickly as possible without rushing us.
The Gown: Lavinias Bridal
I used Lavinias Bridal in Garnerville, NY and would recommend Lavinia to anyone. She truly made me feel like an individual, and not just another bride as other places did. 
I knew right away I would get my dress from her. She was honest with her opinions, without making me feel like my opinion didn't matter, and was always easy to contact.
Band: Moonlight Silhouettes
As for our band, we used Moonlight Silhouettes from Dobbs Ferry, NY. A friend used their other band Stolen Moments at her wedding and I knew they would be a blast!
One of their members wasn't able to make it to the wedding, and Ann Scatt from Stolen Moments refunded me his cost without hesitation. I would recommend the band if anyone has a crowd of dancers!
Theme/Colors
Since our wedding was in the fall, we stuck with a fall-colored theme with lots of reds, yellows, browns and golds. The gorgeous rolling hills of the Falkirk Estate served as the perfect backdrop, as they had just started to change colors.
My sister-in-law works for Party Rental and they have beautiful linens that we used as our starting point for decorating. The bronze colors of the linens highlighted our lilies perfectly and really set the room apart. I tried to incorporate unique elements into our wedding, and really focused on the little details with each idea.
Finds
I used a website called Etsy. The site is for homemade items, and each vendor was so helpful and worked with me to create my visions. Just type in the word “wedding” and an overwhelming number of products are available. I spent way too many late nights searching for the something even better than what I found the night before.
I used LaceyClaireDesigns for table numbers and menus that looked beautiful. She was great to work with and was willing to create whatever I needed.
I used For the Love of Geek for my bridal emergency kit. I used this in the women's bathroom so I didn't have to search for 30 different items from different places. She sent the kit with individually wrapped items, which was a thoughtful touch. This made it so easy to check one more task off my list!

Makeup: Monika Boecker
Monika did a beautiful job on my make-up, and luckily uses an air-brush technique that stayed on from 8 in the morning until well past the end of the wedding. I kept my eyelashes on for 3 days, and they looked just as perfect as they day she put them on.
